Every student receives a free 30-minute trial lesson, which will ensure that the teacher and student are a good fit for each other. This lesson will determine the student’s ability level and needs, as well as give an assessment for a personalized music journey plan!

STUDIO POLICY

  • 30-Minute Lessons: $40 ($160 monthly)

    45-Minute Lessons: $60 ($240 monthly)

    60-Minute Lessons: $80 ($320 monthly)

  • Terms: Lessons must be paid for in advance monthly. All payments must be made before the first lesson of the month. Monthly lessons are only valid for one student and may not cover lessons for different people. Families signing up multiple students receive a $5 discount per lesson, per student.

    All Packages Do Not Include: Cost of lesson materials (sheet music/workbooks), other required materials (notebook, metronome, etc.), or registration/application fees for branch events

    Enrollment: The first trial lesson is free! If the teacher/student relationship is a good fit, the onboarding process will begin, and the parent/guardian and student will sign the required documents. The teacher will buy the lesson materials needed, and the parent/guardian will reimburse the cost.

  • Regular Attendance: Regular attendance is necessary for a student’s success. If attendance is infrequent by a student, they may be dropped.

    Late Attendance: Lessons will not go past the scheduled lesson time, so if a student is late, this will cut into their studio time without a change in fee.

    Refunds: There are NO refunds for cancelled lessons. lessons that are cancelled with under 48 hours notice, or do not fit the accepted reason for a makeup lesson (see below).

  • Accepted Reasons for Make-Up Lessons: Sickness/injury, school/church activities, organized sports events, family emergencies, scheduled medical/dental appointments, scheduled vacations/family trips. Additionally, an email notice must be sent 48 HOURS prior to the planned lesson time.

    Rescheduling: Will not be guaranteed but are subject to the teacher’s availability. Only ONE rescheduling of a lesson time is allowed, any cancellation or that make-up lesson will not be rescheduled or refunded. If a scheduled lesson falls on a major holiday (Easter, Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) then a rescheduling of the lesson will be communicated at the beginning of the month.

  • Lessons: Are taught week-by-week, month-by-month, all year round. Lesson times are available 10am-6pm Monday.

    Exceptions: Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas.

  • Student Commits: To complete all given homework by the next week, as best they can. Practice regularly, bring all materials to each lesson, maintain respect for the studio and piano.

    Parent/Guardian Commits: To bring their child to lessons on time, ensure that their child has all the materials necessary for each lesson, promote positive learning habits at home, and effectively communicate any questions or concerns to the teacher.

    Teacher Commits: To teach students of any age, level, and ability with equal importance, create a personalized lesson plan each week to ensure the student gets the most out of every minute they spend playing the piano at my studio, regularly check in with the parent/guardian of the student to make sure they are succeeding at the piano, provide a safe and fun learning environment, respond to all emails within 48 hours.
